This Privacy Notice applies to all consumer visitors to our OkAutoCredit.com website and callers to our 1-866-NO-FUSSS who complete and submit whether online or through our telephone agents, an OkAutoCredit.com credit application ("Application"). This Privacy Notice explains to you how we may collect and use Customer Information (described in the next section) about you. Our intent is to provide you with information about our privacy policies and practices and in no way does this Privacy Notice intended to be a contract or construed as same or legally binding in any form whatsoever.
Customer Information is collected about you from the following sources:
We receive Customer Information from you on your Application and/or other forms as may be provided from time to time. Such Customer Information includes but is not limited to your name, address, social security number, occupation, income, telephone number, and e-mail address, as well as any other information you provide on your Application.
In addition, when you visit our website(s) or call in to our 1-866-No-Fusss credit hotline, we sometimes collect anonymous information to help us provide better customer service. For example, we track the sources from which you’ve learned of our services as well as track the different domains from which people visit our site. Visitor activity on our website will be monitored however we monitor in ways that keep the information anonymous and strictly confidential. We may use this data to analyze trends/statistics, different marketing initiatives all focused on helping us provide the best customer service possible.
Once you have submitting your Application, either online or through our agents at our telephone credit hotline you are directing us to disclose the Customer Information you provide in your Application to an OkAutoCredit.com approved motor vehicle dealer. The motor vehicle dealer’s finance department will review and submit your Application on your behalf and once a credit decision is made contact you directly to notify you of not only the decision but your different options. Until such time as the dealer destroys the Application, your information will remain strictly confidential and your personal information found on the Application acquired from the OkAutoCredit.com website is fully secured.
In order to provide you with the products and services you request, we insure that any access to Customer Information about you is restricted to only our employees and third parties who require this information in order to successfully operate our credit approval processes and manage our operating systems and your customer account. Keeping consistent with Industry Standards for similar finance companies we also maintain electronic, physical and procedural safeguards to protect your Customer Information. We know that from time to time federal regulations may change; therefore we review our policies and procedures to insure that the integrity of our safeguards will not be compromised.
By agreeing below, I consent to the dealer contacting me in the future and to the sharing of information with associated businesses, lenders and credit agencies so that they may provide me with timely information about their products and services.
By clicking “I Agree” I am authorizing “the dealer” chosen by OkAutoCredit.com and/or any of it’s subsidiaries to withdraw a required deposit directly out of my account indicated below.
I acknowledge that this Authorization is provided for the benefit of the Payee and Caisse Populaire and is provided in consideration of said Caisse Populaire agreeing to process debits against my account in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Payments Association.
I warrant and guarantee that all persons whose signatures are required to sign on this account have signed this agreement below.
This authorization may be cancelled at any time upon notice by the Payor. I acknowledge that, in order to revoke this authorization. I must provide notice of revocation to OkAutoCredit.com.
I acknowledge that provision and delivery of this authorization to OkAutoCredit.com constitutes delivery by the Payor to Caisse Populaire. Any delivery of this authorization to you constitutes delivery by the Payor.
The Payor and Payee agree to waive the pre-notification requirement set out in Section 11 of Appendix II of rule H1 of the Canadian Payments Association.
I undertake to inform OkAutoCredit.com, in writing, of any change in the account information provided in this authorization prior to the next due date of the PAD.*
The account that OkAutoCredit.com is authorized to draw upon is indicated in the accompanying authorization. A specimen cheque for this account has been marked “VOID” and attached hereto.
I acknowledge that Caisse Populaire is not required to verify that a PAD has been issued in accordance with the particulars of the Payor’s Authorization including, but not limited to, the amount.
I acknowledge that Caisse Populaire is not required to verify that any purpose of payment for which the PAD was issued has been fulfilled by OkAutoCredit.com as a condition to honoring a PAD issued or caused to be issued by OkAutoCredit.com on the Payor’s account.
Revocation of this authorization does not terminate any contract for goods or services that exists between the Payor and OkAutoCredit.com. The Payor’s Authorization applies only to the method of payment and does not otherwise have any bearing on the contract for goods or services exchanged.
The Payor, in order to be reimbursed, acknowledges that a declaration to the effect that either (1), (2) or (3) took place, must be completed to the branch of the Processing Institution holding the Payor’s account up to and including 90 calendar days in the case of a personal/household PAD (or up to and including 10 business days in case of a business PAD), after the date on which the PAD in dispute was posted to the Payor’s account.
The Payor acknowledges that a claim on the basis that the Payor’s Authorization was revoke, or any other reason, is a matter to be resolved solely between the Payee and the Payor when disputing and PAD after (90 calendar days in the case of a personal/household PAD or 10 business days in the case of business PAD).
In the event of default in any way by the Payor, the Payor agrees to pay an “NSF” (non sufficient funds) fee of $45.00 plus an interest rate of 18.9% annually for all overdue, overdrawn or default amounts.
Business PAD: Means a PAD (Pre-Authorized debit in paper, electronic or other form) drawn on the account of a Payor such as, but not limited to, a corporation an organization, a trade, an association, a government entity, a profession, a venture or an enterprise, for the payment of goods and service related to commercial activities of the Payor.
Personal/Household PAD: Means a PAD drawn on the account of a Payor for payments such as, but not limited to, charitable donations, RESP and Spousal RRSP contributions, mortgage installments, utility bills, insurance premiums, memberships fees, property taxes, credit card billings and payment for other consumer goods and services.
